As human being, most of us can function fairly easily on less than optimal sleep. In fact, sleeping super long hours on our rest day will confuse our body clock and make it more difficult to us to fall asleep the same time at night. So, it won’t do us good, a better choice would be still waking up the same time on the weekend and that will improve our quality of sleep at night.
